Image courtesy of: www.farm3.static.flickr.comI have an intense fear of birds (I blame Alfred Hitchcock). I have therefore always hated the phrase 'pick your brain'. Please, let me explain. Whenever I hear this phrase I imagine an exposed portion of my brain being relentlessly pecked at by the long yellow beak of a heavy, black, shiny-feathered crow. The thought makes me shudder. Now that I have ruined this phrase for all, I might as well use it. And so, may I pick your brain?
I will be visiting Paris in a few of week's time and have just started to plan my daily itinerary. One place I would love to go to is a vintage store (or many for that matter). In all the books I have about Paris there is not one that mentions vintage shops. I wish to ask anyone familiar with the city (or not) whether there are any vintage stores there and, if so, where. If I am successful in finding one, my aim is to bring back something special from a Parisian vintage/second hand shop and to host a special giveaway. If you can help me I would love to hear from you. My email is mervat@swiftdsl.com.au or, just leave a comment.
Thank you, from the deepest recesses of my (brain) heart :)
