So, what kept you?

Rusty nails, dried paint, dust

Cooking and preparing

Readying clothes for the next day

Telephones, faxes, meetings

More nails, wet paint

Heat, humidity, Summer rain

Day after day

Week after week,

And another month has passed.

My sole salvation is that the Southern Hemisphere is nearing the (hopefully abrupt) end of these thirst-inducing, life-sapping, skin-scorching summer days, irritatingly interspersed with the ooze of sticky rain forcing us to inhale its heavy, clammy, steamy air...

Cool, southerly Autumn breeze, I patiently await you.

Lucky you! We haven't had anything else but heavy snow, freezing cold and ice!!! Can we swap please? Hope you are all fine. Is you mum fully recovered now? Ciao. A.

Ermm.... most of the blogs I visited are talking about the change of weather.

And we got sunshine all year long. Boo hooo!! I want snow!

Septembermom: too :)

Braja: Sending warm, hazy days your way. Miss you, Braja...

Lunarossa: I guess once you have snow and ice it is there for quite a while. Now I almost feel bad complaining...almost! We are well and my mum is making a good but slow recovery...thank you.

Shadowthorne: Well, change is coming for most of us and that has to be a good thing. Someone once said to me that we shouldn't complain about too much sunshine...time out I say.

Suko: And you are too kind.

see you there! said...

I'm ever so happy to find that you are blogging again. Hope the hot weather lets up and you get some nice breezes.

Darla: Thank you. I did miss blogging and my blogger-buddies. Our days have started to resemble (...a little) the Autumn light, thank goodness.
