PEACHES!!

Last weekend my gorgeous family came to our house for lunch. I love having them over and it had been way too long since we had had our once typical family gatherings that did not involve a birthday. You know, a 'just for the sake of it' get together. To my darling family members, I love each and every one of you.

One of the highlights (and when my lot gets together, believe me there are a highlight or two!) was watching my 6 month old angel of a niece dig, head first, into a peach which was almost as big as her head. I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Peach, Pre-Baby:

Peach Post Baby:

When was the last time you got together with your extended family and were there any highlights that you'd care to share?

Good morning Mervat, you're niece is so cute and adorable. Funny how small she is.. 6-month old and she can almost finish a peach?! She's so cuddly. A visit of family once in a while brought a lot of warm feelings. Extended family visit seldom happens to us noting that we're away but when it happened we always make it a major event. We prepared in advance the menu, activities after the sumptous meals such as a walk in the park and shopping. Then back to the house for more meals and chat of the past events. It is endearing..

Suko: She is an absolute darling...and I think she knows it somehow! xo

Loida of the 2L3B's: Hi Loida! Thank you so much. That is very sweet of you. She has quite a healthy appetite and if her mum had let me I would probably have let her have even more! And family visits every now and then are so special. I notice how quickly the children have grown up and realise how quickly that that time passes. xo

Natalie: Thank you so much. She is just so scrumptous! We had a fabulous time. xo

La Belette Rouge: No, not much damage! As cute as she is, she has a very strong personality; you shoul hear her tell me off!xo

lakeviewer: Thanks so much! I enjoy reading your posts and will keep coming back!

MyHijab: mwah mwah to you and your girls!

notSupermum: Thanks so much. She is the centre of attention at the moment...wait till another cousin comes along!xo

Aspiring Writer: Thanks! xo

Maryam: Thank you and welcome! Those cheeks are just so pinchable!

Darla: It is so hard seeing her off when it is time to go home. I always look forward to next time. xo

Chrisy: And they are both just as yummy as eachother!

Abid: She has grown up so quickly and right before our eyes!

Thank you all for commenting. A special thanks to my special sis who allowed me to publish this post with her scrumptious daughter's pics.

When i see those pik's i can still smell the peach, i can just eat her, i really feel like i made some kind of emotional connection with her that day, i know it sounds weird but i really did like moumou with the tomato.
